Giara Liscia is a terracotta vase without handles similar to the jar but with a more graceful profile. Licio and without ornaments, this handmade vase available in four sizes owes its charm to its full and sinuous shape that enhances the material consistency and natural colour of the terracotta. In its largest version it reaches a height of one metre and a width of 88 cm. The jar is a typically Italian vessel, used for the first time. from antiquity to contain liquids or grain. Today it successfully returns to its ancient function in the vinification and fermentation of food, uses for which it can take on considerable dimensions. Giara Liscia is served as a model for Giara Rosa, its version (with handles) decorated with two stylised roses.

1. Dimensioni e Colorazioni

2. Foro drenaggio
É fondamentale che ogni vaso (vuoto o che ospiti una pianta) abbia un buon drenaggio dell’acqua:l’acqua ristagnate potrebbe congelare alle basse temperature e provocare rotture.
Per evitare questo spiacevole inconveniente è fondamentale provvedere a mantenere libero il foro di drenaggio dell’acqua.
É inoltre opportuno che il vaso non poggi direttamente sul suolo, ma venga leggermente rialzato per evitare che un terreno argilloso possa otturare dall’esterno il foro di uscita dell’acqua.

Prestando attenzione a non ostruire il/i fori di drenaggio si consiglia di procedere per strati:

_Pietrisco bianco 18-25 mm (sul fondo del vaso)
_Argilla espansa (Sovrastante al pietrisco)
_Terriccio (Sopra all'argilla espansa)
